Integrity is not just about what we do when others are watching – it’s about who we are when no one is looking. It is living in a way that reflects Christ’s character, even when it would be easier to compromise. In a world that often values convenience over conviction, God calls us to a higher standard.

Proverbs 10:9  “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out.”

Integrity provides a foundation of security. When we live truthfully, we don’t have to hide or fear exposure. We walk in confidence, knowing that our actions align with God’s will.

Jesus warned against hypocrisy, urging His followers to let their righteousness come from the heart, not just outward appearances.

Matthew 5:37 “All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.”

Honesty, consistency and authenticity should mark our lives.

Living with integrity also impacts how we treat others.

Micah 6:8  “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

Integrity is about doing what is right, even when it is difficult, because we ultimately answer to God, not man.

A life of integrity may not always be easy, but it is always worth it. When we choose to honour God in every aspect of our lives, we reflect His truth to a watching world.
