Faith was never meant to be lived in isolation. From the very beginning, God designed us for community, knowing that we grow best when we walk alongside others. In a world that often encourages self-reliance and independence, the Bible calls us to something deeper: authentic, Christ-centred relationships.

Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Gathering with other believers isn’t just a good idea; it’s essential. We need the encouragement, accountability, and wisdom that come from walking with others who share our faith.

Community provides strength in times of struggle.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10  “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labour: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.”

We all face seasons of difficulty, and having fellow believers to lean on helps us stay strong.

Beyond support, community also challenges us to grow.

Proverbs 27:17  “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

We need people who will encourage us, pray with us, and sometimes even challenge us to live more faithfully.

God never intended for us to do life alone. When we invest in meaningful relationships, we reflect His love and experience the richness of His design for the Church.
