Change is one of life’s constants, yet many of us find it difficult to embrace. Whether it’s moving to a new city, starting a new job, or experiencing a significant life transition, change can stir up fear and uncertainty. But as followers of Christ, we are called to embrace change with confidence, knowing that God is sovereign over every season of our lives.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 reminds us that there is a time for everything: “A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal.” Change is inevitable, but it’s also purposeful. Each season of life is a part of God’s plan for our growth, and He is with us through every transition.
Isaiah 43:19 “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
God is always at work in our lives, bringing about new opportunities, new relationships, and new lessons. While change can feel unsettling, it is also a chance for God to reveal new aspects of His character and deepen our trust in Him.
The key to navigating change with confidence is remembering that God’s plan is always better than our own.
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
When we trust God, we can face change with peace, knowing that He is leading us exactly where we need to be.
