God created each of us with a unique purpose. Ephesians 2:10 declares, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Many people struggle with finding their purpose, but the Bible gives us clear guidance. Our ultimate purpose is to glorify God and love others (Matthew 22:37-39). The specific way we live that out will vary, but it starts with seeking God and being faithful where we are.
Jeremiah 29:11 reassures us, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Even when we don’t see the full picture, we can trust that God is leading us.
If you’re unsure of your purpose, start by serving where you are. Look for ways to love, encourage, and serve others. Ask God to reveal the next step. Purpose isn’t always found in grand gestures – it’s found in daily faithfulness, small acts of love, and walking in obedience to God’s calling. Live with intention, knowing that every act of love and obedience fulfills His greater plan. Your life has meaning, and God is using you for His glory.
