Waiting is one of the hardest parts of life. Whether we’re waiting for an answer to prayer, a breakthrough, or a new season, the in-between can feel like wasted time. But with God, no season is wasted. He works even in the waiting.
The Bible is full of stories of people who had to wait on God: Abraham and Sarah waited for a child, Joseph waited in prison, and the Israelites waited for deliverance. In each case, God used the waiting to prepare them for His promises.
Psalm 27:14 “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”
Waiting often reveals where we place our trust. Do we rely on our own timing and plans, or do we surrender to God’s perfect wisdom? Trusting God in the waiting involves prayer, patience, and perseverance. It’s about leaning on His promises even when we can’t see the outcome.
Waiting is not passive – it’s active faith. As we trust Him, God works in our hearts, refining our character and strengthening our faith. The waiting may be difficult, but it’s never without purpose.
