For many, work feels like a necessary grind – something we do to pay the bills but not a place where we find purpose. Yet, as Christians, we are called to see work differently.

Colossians 3:23  “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”

Work is not just a means to an end; it is an act of worship. Whether you’re a teacher, a doctor, a parent, or an artist, your work can glorify God when done with integrity and excellence. It’s about more than completing tasks – it’s about reflecting Christ in how you conduct yourself and interact with others.

One way to redeem work is by viewing it as a mission field. Your workplace is likely filled with people who may never set foot in a church. By showing kindness, patience, and integrity, you can be a witness to the gospel without saying a word.

Finally, remember that your worth is not tied to your job title or accomplishments. Your identity is found in Christ, not your career. When you work with this perspective, you can find joy and purpose even in the most mundane tasks.
