Everything we have – our time, talents, and treasures – is a gift from God. As stewards of these resources, we are called to manage them in a way that honours Him and furthers His kingdom.

Stewardship begins with recognizing that we are not owners but caretakers.

Psalm 24:1  “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.”

When we see our resources as belonging to God, it changes how we use them. Our time becomes an opportunity to serve others, our talents a way to glorify God, and our finances a tool for advancing His work.

Good stewardship also requires intentionality. This means setting priorities that reflect God’s values rather than the world’s. It might involve creating a budget to ensure we’re giving generously, setting aside time for ministry or service, or developing our skills to better serve others.

Stewardship is not just about sacrifice; it’s about trust. When we give our time, talents, and treasures to God, we trust that He will provide for our needs and use our efforts for His glory. In doing so, we experience the joy of being part of His work in the world.
