2 Corinthians 5:17   “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

God is supposedly the God of second chances. I don’t accept that.  God, in my opinion, is the God of more chances than just a second one!  You require more than just another chance, if you’re anything like me.  So every day when we rise from our slumber, we should know that regardless of what happened yesterday – God gives us another chance today. God gives us a wonderful gift every single day:  a fresh start!

If you haven’t already, I would really encourage you to memorise the verse above!  It gives us a fresh start, another opportunity, and the capacity to “leave the past behind.”

If you are in Christ, you have become a new creation; the old things have gone away, so you may put them in the ground and stop looking for them later -because everything has changed for the better.

Jesus is the source of the power we need to start over, not willpower.  It’s about a spiritual regeneration in which the life of Christ now resides in you, making you “in Christ.” We become a “new creation” when the Creator, God, takes up residence in us.

In Christ, God will create a new you! Believe it, receive it and thank God for it now!
