Isn’t that incredible? You will have everything you need to navigate life’s challenges with a godly outlook thanks to God’s omnipotent strength!
This implies that God will provide you with everything you need to get through everything. When the waters of life threaten to overwhelm you and you fear that you might drown in anxiety, despair, or dread, He is not promising riches and renown here; rather, He is promising that you will have what you need. His divine authority will intervene to save you! But how does it take place when anxiety and fear hang over you menacingly or when unrest consumes you? through our comprehension of Him!
Through His names, God expresses the breadth of everything He is for you right now, and as your understanding of Him deepens, so does your trust. As you immerse yourself in the knowledge of all He brings to your life to support you in living in victory even in the middle of challenges, His divine power starts to work within you.
Everything is summed up in Jesus’ title as “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.” But as you continue to delve into the fullness of God’s names, your life will be enriched in such a way that you will be able to perceive His heavenly force at work within and all around you. Think about these “broad outlines” of His personality:
God is both huge and true! Nothing and nobody can avoid His observation.
God is right here! Even in the midst of a significant struggle, you are never alone.
God is love! He doesn’t guarantee that the harsh realities of this world or the decisions made by others won’t ever affect your existence. However, He does assure you of His love, and you can rely on it to support you and bring about your ultimate good as well as His glory to demonstrate to the rest of the world that He is the God who genuinely loves. He is your Redeemer; He is the One who redeems the disasters in your life and transforms them into something wonderful.
God is unchanging. He is. He will always be. His call is the persistent yearning you feel inside for something greater, for something more. Nothing will completely satisfy you. Because God has implanted eternity in your heart, nothing will satisfy you fully until your hand is securely in His every day as you navigate the journey of life with Him.
God is God! Your faith will increase as your understanding of Him deepens, and you’ll see His divine force at work within you as life takes on a whole new meaning.
